Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gary Berman graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1981. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies. He was named Michigan Dental Citizen of the Year in 2002 by the Michigan Dental Association and Dentist Citizen of the Year in 2006 by the Detroit District Dental Association. Dr. Berman is board certified in Forensic Dentistry and was part of the initially responding disaster team (DMORT) to both the World Trade Center and Hurricane Katrina disaster. He has also taught courses throughout the United States including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado and Florida. He is a past president of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, a past president of the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a past Chair of the Odontology Section of the American Academy of Forensic Science and is the morgue operations chief for the state of Michigan's MiMORT disaster team. Dr. Berman has also co-authored text book chapters on Dental Identification and Disaster Victim Identification.
Dr. Kenneth Fox is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fox believes a healthy mouth and a shining smile are signs of a sucessfull visit to his dental office. Dr. Fox regularly takes continuing education classes so he can provide the best care for his patients and offer them the latest advances in dental treatment.
Dr. Beth Rosenberg is a 1997 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. She has a masters degree in Biostatistics, and taught at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. She is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rosenberg works part time, spending much of her time as "Ian and Emily's mom". Dr. Rosenberg believes that a pleasing smile can be achieved for everyone with no pain. Dr. Rosenberg's many continuing education courses helps not only to keep her current, but now allows her to do minor orthodontics in the office.
Dr. Rachel Hicks is currently practicing in Dundee, Michigan. Our office wishes her many years of success.
Dr. Colleen Allen received her degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Also, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. Go Blue! She is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Colleen strongly values patient education and preventative oral health care. She is a compassionate dentist that loves to form personal relationships with her patients. Dr. Colleen’s goal is to make every dental visit a comforting and positive experience! Dr. Allen works in both the Westland and the Belleville locations.
Dr. Hania AlKudmani joined us from the University at Buffalo where she served as an assistant professor and a clinical researcher in the department of periodontics. She is an American board certified periodontist and a graduate from the University at Buffalo where she earned her Master of Science degree and Certificate in Periodontics, followed by twelve months extra training in implant dentistry.
Dr. AlKudmani is very compassionate, caring and approachable. She has demonstrated precise techniques, excellence in advanced periodontal and implant procedures, and passion for patient education.
Dr. AlKudmani performs teeth extraction, bone grafting, dental implants, sinus augmentation, gum grafting, diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases, and treating gummy smile, amongst many other procedures.
When Dr. AlKudmani is not teaching or taking care of her patients, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, travelling, scuba diving, and snorkeling.
